About Anesi Restaurant

The initial impression upon entering the dining space reveals a balance between comfort and subtle elegance, creating an inviting atmosphere well-suited for casual meals or quiet dinners. Ambient lighting and thoughtfully arranged seating allow conversations to flow without disturbance. Encountering the Anesi Restaurant menu reveals a thoughtful blend of traditional Mediterranean flavors accented by creative touches that avoid predictability. While a few dishes lean towards familiar territory, standout options showcase fresh ingredients and careful preparation, reflecting a kitchen attentive to seasonality and texture.

A glance through various photos of Anesi Restaurant confirms expectations built by the interior: dishes presented with a pleasing attention to detail, neither overly ornate nor careless. The staff navigate the floor with a measured attentiveness, generally responsive though occasionally stretched during busier periods, which can subtly affect pacing. Reviews from frequent visitors often highlight the consistency in flavor and the relaxing vibe, though some note occasional discrepancies in portion size that might influence overall value. The wine selection complements the menu's Mediterranean focus with a modest but well-chosen assortment that parallels the quality found in the kitchen.

One dish, a slow-cooked lamb shoulder infused with herbs, exemplifies the kitchen’s capabilities, melting effortlessly while maintaining vibrant seasoning. It’s an example of how the restaurant balances flavor complexity without overwhelming the diner. While desserts tend toward the simpler end, they provide a satisfying, lighter finish to the meal. Observing the overall dining experience at Anesi Restaurant reveals a venue that embraces its culinary heritage while being mindful of modern dining expectations, a combination that draws a steady clientele from locals and visitors alike.

We were the only table at the restaurant during lunch time so was sceptical at first. As with most places in Cyprus, the seafood is fresh! The garlic prawns were really good, albeit on the saltier (side) - make sure to get some bread to dip that garlic sauce. We also ordered the calamari, sea bass and moussaka. I anticipated the moussaka to be very heavy and oily but it wasn't.

A roadside place to est and relax. You have to show quality to attract customers. They certainly do and give good value. The house white wine is very good.

Excellent food. Very friendly and helpful staff. Really nice vibe. I cannot think of anything to criticise. We had three great evenings here over a week’s stay. Far and away the best restaurant we tried.

Well what can I say about this place other than pick it up and drop it off at my village back in the uk. What a find and a gem of a place. We turned up without a booking and couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome. Sat down drinks order taken and food order taken within just a few minutes of arrival. Very relaxed atmosphere with what I can only assume was the owner going to the tables have a chat with the customers. The food was amazing all three of us had steak. I had peppercorn fillet steak at €22 that was cooked to perfection and omg the steak was huge, must have been 10-12oz of meat. The other two in our party had ribeye to which they both agreed was one of the best steaks they’ve ever had. This place is a great find and we shall definitely be going again and again and again whilst here on holiday.
